Climb Kilimanjaro on the Rongai Route with Click Expedition, a locally owned team in Moshi. Rongai is the only route that approaches Kilimanjaro from the north, near the Kenyan border. The climb to the top is gradual and steady, which makes it one of Kilimanjaro's easier routes. It has low crowds and passes through remote wilderness areas, and wildlife can sometimes be seen in the first days. Seven days on the mountain lead to the midnight push to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. Itinerary: Day 1 arrive in Tanzania, you are picked up at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Moshi, where you meet your guide for a briefing and an equipment check (missing gear can be rented that day) · Days 2 to 8 on the mountain, including the summit night and descent · Day 8 finish and return to your hotel in Moshi · Day 9 departure.
